‘Call to Arms’ Cancer Awareness Campaign

We’ve just joined in on the Cricket NSW and Cancer Council NSW campaign ‘Call to Arms’ raising awareness for cancer in men.

With our current premiership player, 19 year old Breadon Hensel currently battling cancer, we thought it was a great initiative.

Cricket NSW has joined forces with Cancer Council NSW to fight cancer in men. Why? Because Australian men are more likely to die from cancer than women. So, we want all players to support Call To Arms and help raise awareness of cancer in men.

It’s simple.  Dedicate a match or a round, get all your players to wear a yellow armband and raise funds. That’s what Call To Arms is all about.

Once we’ve set a date I’ll post up more information.

Meanwhile our fundraising site can be found below, with our aim to raise $500.
